“After graduated my secondary education, I stayed home to my parents, doing nothing, just helping domestic works.

After getting involved with VOYOTA, I got experience and skills capacities building on entrepreneurship activities, I didn’t know how to make soap, but now I can make soap and sell it.

About VOYOTA, for my side, It’s a good organization, which is working with youth. It provide entrepreneurship skills to youth which enable youth to become economically free and beat poverty also to provide for their family.

I had a dream before VOYOTA of becoming a teacher, before engaging with VOYOTA under Her Voice project, my mother told me she could enable me financially by giving me a capital to start my own business, but she couldn’t because of financially problems, so then we heard about VOYOTA opportunities in sewing machine and we get to chance in, I thought it was another chance for me to learn and increase my chance of getting money.

About Her Voice project, I think it’s a very good project, which a lot of youth need, because it base specifically on the way of solving a problem which a lot of youth in is facing, employment problem, because it give youth knowledges pratically example how to make soap, cake, bread and sewing the clothes all of this can generate income to a person, and all it enable youth to develop them financially.

I learned how to sew, I didn’t know anything about it but now I can make bags and handbags, wallets. Also, I learned to make liquid soap which I didn’t know anything about that before; Also, I learned how to plant seeds to get vegetables. Also, I learned french and japanese languages with international volunteers.

My dream now is to become an entreprenure, so after I graduate I would start making my own products and sell it, when I get capital. I want to start immediately”.
