This September 2022 was a day focused on young women’s leadership in today’s society in Tanzania.

What is it to be a leader? How to become a leader? Can women be leaders? Who are the outstanding leaders of the 20th century (Nelson Mandela, Gandhi)?

All these questions were asked to the young students of VOYOTA and to the whole team of the organization.

First, in groups of four/five, the students dialogued among themselves and defined the word leader. They specified all the words that came to mind when they thought of leader.

Secondly, they indicated how they, themselves, could become leaders. They indicated that they were interested in design and fashion, so it was explained to them that drawing and design could be tools for leadership.

They were encouraged to create their own clothes, their own brand to become leaders in their field.

A future to create! A great ambition! Let’s support them!
